Description: This is a position in a 225-bed specialty care hospital. The facility includes multiple departments such as Heart & Vascular Institute, Cancer Center, Brain & Spine, Rehab, Behavioral Health, Digestive Health, Bariatric Medicine & Weight Management, Women's Health, and Pediatrics. Facilities include the region's premier imaging, surgery, and laboratory services. The hospital is located in the central region of Michigan's upper peninsula. The hospital offers a 1st-floor laboratory setting that handles various tests and analyses. A Trauma Level of 2 indicates a diverse patient population. The number of beds in the facility is 250. The core laboratory utilizes equipment including Sysmex Xn s, Vitros 5600 Chemistry, and Siemens CS5100 for Coagulation. Patient ratios and detailed descriptions of the patient population are not specified. The dress code requirements include wearing any color scrubs. All absences must be made up to maintain contracted hours. Attendance procedures will be strictly applied to this assignment.
