About the Clinician's WorkdayThe gastroenterology nurse practitioner will provide outpatient clinic coverage on a day shift basis, Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with no call requirements. Clinical responsibilities include the management of chronic and acute gastroenterology diseases for both new and established patients. Clinicians may order and coordinate endoscopy procedures to be completed by on-site physicians. Clinical documentation is maintained through the EPIC EMR system, with training provided during onboarding.
